I fly to Canada a couple of times per year. I have never been asked for the radio licenses but do have the radio station license in the airplane. Don't forget about eapis. Are you familiar?

[quote]Here's a question for you experienced Canada hands - what do I need for travel to Canada in my plane? I know about CANPASS, passports, customs sticker, etc. according to the AOPA website I also need a radio license, but when I follow the links, the FCC site is confusing. Do I need a radio station license (made out for the plane)? A radiotelephone operators license for me? Both? Can anyone walk me through exactly why I need to get to be legal?

thanks and Happy New Year?
