Looking toto pin Tampa overnight to visit a friend I haven't seen in many years following the Orlando PROP. He lives about 8 miles north of TPA. At first glance, it appears TPA, TPF or VDF are the preferred airports. Lost of varying posts about landing fees, ramp, fees, overnight fees, etc. I'm sure some of our group operate for or frequent the Tampa area. Any suggestion? I am a member of CAA and was leaning towards TPA Jet Center, but looking for first hand reports....

Thanks,
Dave

Surely some folks here have some recommendations for Tampa!

Dave,

When we Go to the Tampa area I actually use Naples. The drive is not bad and the cost of fuel is around $1.10 per gallon cheaper. When we go to the east coast Ft Lauderdale Exec at Sano Jet is a great stop. With taxes it cost $4.93 a gallon there.

Zephyrhills Municipal Airport always has great fuel prices & is not that far from Tampa.
